I’m sure it’s no coincidence that Building Simulation 2017 coincides with the golden anniversary of the Summer of Love, 1967. Then, like now, seekers of new insights gathered in San Francisco. People questioned old ways and understood they were part of something new and important: a new path to knowledge and enlightenment.
I’m excited about the progress and potential of our industry, especially after seeing the list of presentations happening in San Francisco (https://www.conftool.pro/bs2017/sessions.php). I hope you can make it. Borrowing from Timothy Leary… turn on, tune in and drop out.
Or as I like to say, turn on (your multi-processor machine), tune in (your model inputs), and drop out (unnecessary energy consumption).
And go to San Francisco (with or without flowers in your hair).
